beIN turns to HEC Paris in Qatar for leadership development

In an effort to create leaders who drive performance, beIN Media Group has entered into a corporate partnership with HEC Paris, one of the leading providers of executive education worldwide and ranked #1 in the Financial Times European Business Schools Rankings 2020.

Commenting on the MoU, Tareq Zainal, Chief Financial & Human Resources Officer said: “Our people are our most important assets and investing in them will help us create future leaders that can make a difference. We are positive that HEC Paris’ program portfolio will empower and equip beIN’s mid to senior-level employees with practical business knowledge and unparalleled leadership qualities. According to the memorandum of understanding (MoU), the beIN MEDIA GROUP employees will be given access to the full range of HEC Paris’ programs, including the International Executive MBA (EMBA), ranked #3 worldwide by the Financial Times in 2020, the Specialized Master’s in Strategic Business Unit Management (SBUM), short programs and executive certificates. The employees admitted to the programs will benefit from preferential corporate partnership tuition fees, and will also be eligible to participate in HEC Paris masterclasses, webinars and information sessions.

The International Executive MBA, ranked #3 in the world by the Financial Times in 2020, provides executives with fundamental skills to expand their knowledge and leadership capabilities. It is a practical and intense 18-month program helping participants to expand their understanding of the social, economic and environmental aspects of international business, as well as developing the skills to implement their vision. The next EMBA intake is scheduled for April 2021.

The Specialized Master’s in Strategic Business Unit Management is the second degree program offered by HEC Paris in Qatar. Also delivered in a flexible 15 to 18-month modular format, the Specialized Master’s program starts with a core curriculum focused on strategy, finance, leadership and change management. The program reflects HEC Paris’ commitment to contribute to the development of a knowledge-based economy in Qatar and to strengthen corporate competitiveness in the region. The next Specialized Master’s intake is scheduled for January 2021, with another intake in October 2021.

HEC Paris’ Custom programs were ranked #2 worldwide by the Financial Times in 2020. They are fully customized leadership development programs that enable participants to reflect upon themselves, their organization, their role within their industry and the position their company occupies on the national and global stage.
