HEC Paris in Qatar Alumni Chapter

With an established branch campus in Qatar since 2010, HEC Paris in Qatar now has over 950 alumni. Many of our graduates hold key positions in major companies, government and the private sector, in education, in healthcare, and within the rapidly growing local entrepreneurship ecosystem. Our alumni continue to contribute to developing and fostering Qatar’s knowledge-based economy and in helping shape the country’s 2030 national vision.

Ambassador Program

HEC Paris in Qatar offers various platforms allowing the alumni community to give back to the school. One such program is the ambassador program, which encourages our alumni to become mentors for future candidates. New participants are matched with alumni who then guide, nurture, support, and provide them with valuable insights on their own HEC Paris journey. The program not only provides our new participants with an exceptional experience but also creates strong and lasting bonds.

Alumni Referral Program

We believe that our alumni are not only our ambassadors but also an invaluable resource in the global market place. We constantly reach out to our graduates who hold key positions in their companies to identify and nominate their “superstars” to pursue executive education. Strong candidates, those with ambition, drive, and determination to succeed, would be suitable for our Specialized Master’s and Executive MBA programs. We are especially interested in broad-minded and intellectually curious people who think creatively and apply analytical rigor to find solutions.

How to refer?

Referring candidates is easy: simply complete our Alumni Referral Program online form. As program places are limited, please start the process early, as participants may be eligible for a scholarship if they are a direct relative of yours.

What happens after you refer a candidate?

We will contact the candidate via email informing them of the referral and inviting them for a one-to-one meeting in-person or over the phone. The candidate will then receive all the necessary information regarding the degrees, the admissions process, and their eligibility for the program. You will be notified if the candidate starts the application process and when a final decision is reached. As a gesture of appreciation, we will offer you a choice of gifts from our alumni online shop.

Alumni Family Referral

A discount of 10% is available for participants with a first-degree relative who is an HEC Paris Alumni: spouse, daughter, son, father, mother, brother, sister. Proof of eligibility will be required.
